    battery isolator and charging

Have 2007 22ve factory dual battery system.
If I have the battery isolator in off position is it ok to charge batteries with out disconnecting them?

Is it an isolator or just a battery switch?

Is an isolater, turns both batteries on or off. I believe this is a second automatic divise that puts deep discharge on access and saves the other for starting.

May still have some confusion here but to answer your question, Yes, you can still charge the batteries, but you need to use a charger that will not put out more Votls and Amps then the electronics are intended for. Most battery tenders will not be an issue but some shop chargers can. I set mine on a 10 Amp charge and don't see more then 13.2v at the battery(s) while charging. The fear is over-voltage. Most 12 volt electronics don't like it when they get 16v or higher, they tend to fry and many automotive style shop chargers can and will over charge on settings such as "boost" or "start".

The switch and isolator deal is different. Your original post says "batteries" so I assume you have the Tige EIDB dual battery option. If so, you will have a solid state battery Isolator that allows the alternator to charge both batteries while the engine is running, but will not allow the accessories to drain the Starting Batt when the engine is off.

Whether you have the EIDB or not, you may still have a manual switch. It may be a simple "on/off" or it could be a "1/2/both/off". The few Tiges that I've messed with only had the on/off and it only interrupted power to the starter. All the other accessories were still hot.

has a large red on off switch which turns off all power it seems, starter and all accessories.
