What is the temperature range for a Marine Power 6.0 with the closed loop cooling system? My temp gauge reads a little to the right of 175. I hooked up the fake-a-lake and tons of water is pumped through my FAE. Just curious.

I guess mine does that sometimes, I thought it was the voltage. If it doesn't start right away I wait 3 seconds and go again and it usually starts right up the second time."a what? i can['t] say/spell/pronounce that word..." - wannabewakeboarder

Mine runs at 170 to 175F.
But I cant get my tige 24ve to run for long above, say 3700 to 4000 RPM , so it's probably not a good gauge to go by.
Where did you guys buy your 6.0's?
I was not aware any one even had 6.0's?
I know that Don In Florida is very well versed on the MP 6.0 , but did not know any one in the western US had experience with the MP 6.0.

Don, I bet that's what mine is still doing. I know we PM'ed about this last year.
Believe it or not it's still not been resolved!
Here they "feel" its a perfect pass issue but I am not so sure.
I wish you were out on the left coast man!
