My boat has about 14-16hrs on it and I have noticed when using the PP that as soon as I pull someone up and out of the water the boat slows down incredibly before throttling back up to where I have it set at. I read the PP manual and it mentioned something about a surge in power could be related to some throttle cable and to turn a black knob. I will wait on that till the 20hr service is ready. I can just pull without it for now. But.............
This weekend out at Elsinore I had the boat full with 4 adults and 3 kids and even without the PP on the boat surged incredibly bad. I have ran the boat without PP so I know its not my driving and I have been in some chop already. Not to mention, the bilge came on by its self. I was taking in water and am not sure why. Would additional weight cause this? I should be able to sit that many people in the boat and not have a problem. Not to mention, what if I add ballast to this? Have anyone experienced this problem?
