    Faria hourmeter

I can't get the total hours to show on my meter. Just shows time from last trip. Is there a trip mode it may be on? Looked through Faria manual but couldn't find.

The hr meter is built into the tach. By pressing the center button on the tach it should scroll through depth, water temp, ... then to hr meter.
I think the trip is in the speedo.

Any questions call your dealer. John or Byron should be able to help.

Looks like there is no trip setting on the hourmeter, just total hours per manual. It now shows only 2. I lost the first 12 hours. It somehow reset to 0.

That is not the first time I've heard that happening. I really don't know why it does it. Hour meters should not reset, it's like reseting the odometer in your car.
The ECM will record total hrs. It will also record run history. That means us technicians can tell how many hours your boat is run at what rpm.

Andrew from Tige said there was a trip setting but I think he is confusing the fuel modes.

My hour meter reset itself last weekend, went from 155 to 8. Has anyone actually replaced the gauge?

I'd like to get this addressed because I use my hour meter to determine service intervals (per the service manual). If Tige and Faria are not fixing the problem I guess I will just have to install a good ol mechanical hobbs meter.

I'd be curious to know if Correct Craft is having the same problem because they use the same guages.
