    Made In USA

I have a 1997 Pre 2150 Boat, does anyone know if the boat has the markings "made in USA" anywhere on it?

I cant think of a single place where it might say made in the usa on the boat, thats sad it use to be that products built here said Made In The United States Of America.

I have a 97 2002 and the boat doesn't have that anywhere, and I have been all over it. The only parts I can think of offhand that say "Made in the USA" are my Edelbrock intake, an aftermarket MSD coil pack, and the Holley Carb. I think the oil filter I am currently using also says made in USA on it. I have a Marine Power engine. My Dorsey trailer also has "made in xxx, OK USA" on the trailer ID plate. There are probably a couple of more components somewhere I am sure, I think my exhaust hose actually says it too, but none stamped on the hull, or immediately visible components.

What kind of restrictions do you have on that kind of stuff? Is it a tax issue?

Well my '95 doesn't say it anywhere except for the trailer tag.

What about that label behind the observers seat?
It would be the only place I can think of. It has all the mumbo Jumbo about meeting all applicable manufacturers requirement at the time built.

I am not near my boat, or I would look.

Thanks for the responses, I could not find it on the hull anywhere, however the problem has been overted as the Engine has the manufactueres name and states USA on it so this meet the requirement for the Bahrain Customs.
To answer Spharis "What kind of restrictions do you have on that kind of stuff? Is it a tax issue?" there are no restrictions on bringing boats into bahrain the issue was over a duty payment, Bahrain has a duty free policy with the USA but the items must have "Made in the USA" on it and also on the CO's. It's now cleared and fully registered with the Bahrain coast guard so roll on the weekend......

How about some pics of where you ride in Bahrain?

                    Hey Nicky,

Does your boat have one of those manufacturers stickers behind the observers seat?

I have one. It is a little plaque, but I don't think it says made in USA on it. It is just a Coast Guard thing.
