I have never seen 150 flywheel from 5 pounds without some extra (nitrous, water injection, etc.). 10 pounds yes, but not 5 pounds. 5 pounds of boost and the amount of work involved in getting a charger on a boat wouldn't be worth the time or money invested; especially for an inboard ski boat, that we all wish was a little quieter anyway.

LS7 stock=505 hp
LS7 w/ 3.5 lbs. boost=650+
Boost is relitive to compression. The higher compression the less boost you need/can have.
How would you plan on tuning this engine after the blower/power adder is installed without removing the engine. It HAS to be dialed in on a dyno unless you plan on vaporizing a few if not all your cast pistons.
Your best bet is to pull the engine from the boat, pull about $10k from your credit cards and get after it. With any luck you might get one full day without any component failures. Good luck

Careful M.D., you will be called a liar for stating something as crazy as 3.5lbs of boost is going to equal 150 or more hp. But maybe since you stated the same as I did about compression playing a part in it, their may be some truth to my ramblings.

Then again, I will go back to my hole and just keep quite. Move along people, nothing to see here.
