spharis: There should be a current draw rating on the housing, or you could look the model up at the manufacturer's website, and replace the thermal breaker to a properly sized one

I believe Spharis was asking if you were able to see (on the blower housing) what the amp draw for the blower itself is. The breaker should be reated for just higher than the normal draw of the device it's protecting.

Lee - for the few blowers you replaced, do you remember what size the removed failed blowers were; the size of the new blowers? - or did it have nothing to do with the size?
Yes I still use mine since it has only happened twice so I didnt think it was a big deal. Thankfully it started working on its own.

Is it possible the blower is drawing more than 3amps?

Boat is in the shop, so unable to take a look at. Stopped by the service dept yesterday to see where the dealer was on this. He had talked to Tige this week on the subject. Tige advised to bump up the circuit breaker capacity. Tige is sending out a 6 amp breaker to swap out for the 3 amp breaker.
