    Speedset issues

Has anyone here had any issues with there Speedset incrementing by 5mph all the way up to 50mph?

Seems that when I turn on my Speedset the "Set speed" readout will climb in increments from 5mph all the way till it reachs 50mph. This is while I have the boat in idle. I have tried setting it down from there but only goes to 49.5 and back to 50 and repeats itself.

Funny thing is that it will hold speed while I set it in montion and it shows the right speed on the large readout even though the "small Set Speed" readout is reading 50mph.

I did not have this issue until I disconnected my batteries.

I have the 360HT Marine Power engine.

I just don't have experience with SpeedSet, hopefully Lee will see this post.

I have speed set on 07 22ve 340 marine power. Does not do what you say. Is very reliable. Only catch for new players is needs to reset if motor turned off to pick up boarder. Will look as if set for previous speed but will go straight past if you continue to bury the throttle like you normally do.

It sounds like a button is stuck in the down position. It only climbs in 5's when you hold it down for an extened time.

Coach, that sounds like the only reasonable explanation althought I tried pressing the buttons multiple times. May have to inspect it further to see if a button is stuck.
