ok, on my boat my rear sack always drains too. I have the fill line coming in from the manifold, then the suction line going to a pump, that goes to the hull to empty. There is a t I have in that comes from the top of the bag and goes to exit as well to tell when it's full. I also have a check valve in mine, but I think it is in the wrong place. Is the check supposed to go where? I mean you want it to stop the flow. Will water flow out of the pump? Since I just have all my hoses laying on the floor, and I do know water triies to reach the lowest level, what's the best approach here to keep my rear sac from emptying?Originally posted by G-MONEYIt hurts me to say it but go OU but only for this weekend!!!!

If water is coming out of your empty line, you could not put a check valve as that would stop the sack from emptying. You will need to install a ballcock.

No. It is probably going out of the vent/overflow line. The check valve you have there is keeping water from going back into the sac when you are pumping the bag empty. I would think elevating both the vent line and empty line would maybe help, but then you run the risk of the water dumping back out of the fill line. A check valve in the fill line would alleviate that problem.

I like this one that is made by Whale. You could probably find it cheaper, but this is the first place that popped up when I searched for it.

Side note where is everyone getting their sacs at? I need to get one or two smaller one's, ie the 250 size, and I thought you used to be able to get them for under 50 bucks, but haven't found them yet. Anyone suggest anything? Ebay doesn't have anythign this smallOriginally posted by G-MONEYIt hurts me to say it but go OU but only for this weekend!!!!

Well, I have not seen anything that inexpensive but this guy that sells some factory seconds from time to time has some less expensive sacs. Lucky275 sent me the link. I am thinking of getting rid of my hard tanks and was thinking of getting sacs from him.
