    De-Winterizing

I've been reading the forum on wakeboarder.com for speaker discussions, but came acrossed alot of people talking about de-winterizing and two things surprised me, first seems like most people store their boat for the winter with the plugs out, and secondly they also seem to store it without the impeller installed. I've only had my boat ('99 21V Rider's Edition) 2 years but I just filled the block with the pink antifreeze (100%, also seemed like quite a few people were mixing it 50/50 with water?!?!).

Does anyone pull the impeller on their Tige's for winter storage or store it without the plugs installed?

Pulling the plugs out is the way to make sure the water is out so that way you don't freeze anything in the block. I do this because I use my boat year round. When it's above 50 out I go board. I keep the plugs out and then my cover on with two heaters running on freeze control. It keeps the enitre boat at about 50 degrees so everthing is fine and dandy.

Putting the pink antifreeze ensureses nothing will freeze in your block. It is what is recomended if you are not going to use your boat year round. This is because then if there is any water in the block the antifreeze mixes with it and you don't have to worry about a cracked block.

    Hope this helps
