MP - Engine ECU warning

I have noticed that when I dont use my boat for a few weeks I get the message on my LCD readout that states:

Engine ECU
No data
over 25 Seconds

My boat runs fine before and after the message appears, just curious if this is something that is normal or not. I assume the message is exactly what it states? I have the MP 360HP HT engine.

We have a 2007 24ve and are experiencing having the same problem. It doesn't happen every time and will usually correct itself after a few minutes. However last time is happened, it stayed like that for over an hour, after several stops and starts.

When I winterized I told the dealer about it, to be sure that the problem was noted for warranty purposes. I believe that he was checking with the factory. In any case, it does not seem to affect anything other than the readout. I'll find out in the spring if it persists.
