Alpha z tower stuck

Ok, I’m home in the driveway trying to lower my tower. One side came out, the other is stuck. I got it to break free but now it’s just spinning. Help!?

Have tried wiggling the tower etc...

The first few threads of the handles are normally ground down a bit so they start true and dont cross thread. It looks like you are far enough out that it just needs pulled straigh out, hopefully.
How long has your plastic handle been broken off?? Only reason I ask is the stainless bolts threads into the aluminum base and sometimes the aluminum loses the battle, but thats worst case.
