I keep my boat on a hydrohoist and fill at my private slip. I prefer not to fill at the marina. What are the best/fastest options for fueling? I am currently using old 5gal cans....they take about 5min to drain each tank

^^ I picked up a couple of these for the detail guys here at the shop and they seem to work good as well and eliminated spillage

I use something similar to Gravity siphon. I have seen 3/4" ID tubing that will make emptying 5 gallons short work.

5 gallon gas cans, go buy clear tubing (1 1/4" I believe). Put one end in the boat filler and on end in the gas tank and squeeze it the tank to start siphon. Works like a charm.
If you don't want to squeeze the can, those gravity siphon (suggested by h20-ski) work well, just make sure to get a big diameter one for enough flow. Northern Tool has 1" diameter ones for $20.Last edited by MikeB313; 09-13-2018, 06:24 PM.

5 gallon cans and the jiggler siphon from Harbor Freight. It will drain a 5 gallon can in about 90 seconds. It will drain it as fast at the gas pump will fill the can up.
