Problems with SpeedSet. Will not drop below 12 mph.

I cannot get my SpeedSet to drop below 12 mph. I was hoping one of you had the same issue and found a fix for this:

I spoke to Tige Tech Support and they sent me this: Regarding calibrating the Speedset

    Speedometer Calibration
    1. Navigate to the SETUP menu and press SpeedSet
    2. Use the Down button to scroll to “Speedometer Calibration” and press SpeedSet
    3. Using a GPS, drive the boat up to 20mph.
    4. Using the Up or Down arrows to move the speed up or down to match the GPS
    speed.
    5. Press the SpeedSet button to accept the change.
    6. The screen will return to the SETUP menu.

The problems I am having are I cannot get the calibration bar to equal the GPS speed of 20mph. The highest the calibration bar will go is 16mph. At a 16 mph setting, the lowest cruising speed my SpeedSet will go is 8 mph. At 8mph, the GPS is registering almost 12 mph. Whats weird is one time I was actually able to match the GPS speed with the calibration tool, but all of my memory setting pre adjusted up 4 mph. So my memory speed of 8mph, magically went up to 12 mph and could not be reduced only raised in speed.

Thank You. I was trying to find the thread regarding the SpeedSet I bought, but had no luck. I really wasn't sure if it was an issue with the Speedset, I thought it may have been more of an issue with the fact that I changed the Prop which in turn changed the rpm for a given speed over the stock prop.

Its still strange to me that the mph is high. Being the Vdig screen, which was used only one year, throws me off when it comes to issues with it. You may have to pull a factory reset. When you changed it to metric did it say KPH next to the speed on the screen? It wouldn't be the prop. The speed comes from the paddle wheel so the prop has nothing to do with that.
        Oh Yeah!

I did press the "Reset Factory Settings" option while I was out on the boat trying to get it setup, but it didn't help anything. Is there another factory reset? I don't remember seeing KPH, I'm pretty sure it was MPH.

I just checked the paddlewheel under the boat and it is missing a paddle. Would this cause this issue?

Meaning its missing a blade off the paddle? Then that is your issue.
