    R&R the fuel pump/water seperator

So I have a leak in the fuel pump...I JB welded one spot with success, but then it began dripping from the area of where the bottom screws on to the top at pressure (when running). I bought a wrench strap, but its not moving one way or the other!

I ordered this as suggested from Tige:

Is this a simple plug and play? Or do I need to prime the filter? Any suggestions would be appreciated as I would hate to pay for a tech to do what is otherwise a simple R&R.

    Previous thread with pictures.

Side note...this unit was serviced by a Tige Tech at end of last season...boat was just launched last week...I'm sure this is a similar story to many others....

    TIA!

that is the right pump, hard to tell from your pictures if the housing is leaking or the o-ring that seals the 2 halves. Replacement is fairly straight forward, I have replaced my pump once and the filter twice since owning my boat.

I bought a strap and tried to remove the filter last week....NO JOY! I couldn't budge it! Once I remove the unit, I can place it in the vice and remove the bottom part and see if this was an issue created upon the last service.
