Speedometer

I have a 2006 Tige 24ve and speedometer does not work. I am wondering if there are any gps speedometers I can use for this boat instead of trying to fix the one I have currently? (which I heard go bad quite often)

There's lots of options. Nautic Logic and Faria are two big names that build nice products.
Googling "marine GPS speedometer" will yield other results as well.
