Tracking Fins - removal

First off, I'm rather new to the site, but just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone here. This is a great resource, glad to belong.

Anyways, would like to remove my tracking fins because one has a slight bend. How are these mounted - with through bolts? Or just bolted to a stringer underneath? Any special procedure to put them back on.

I know they are through bolted which is one reason they are so strong on a Tige. However I do not know if the bolts are fixed or if you will need to get to them to keep them from spinning. Good luck with it though

Depends on the year of your boat, actually the hull number will decide on when the mounting procedure changed.
