fuel tank depth for new sender

Can anyone confirm the fuel tank depth on the 24v? If I remember it was about 6"? Do I get a Wema reed sender that is 5.5"?

There's a couple different universal senders that swing a float instead of sliding up and down a shaft. You just trim the float arm end to length. Still set to the standard 32-240 ohms or whatever it is. Have a handful on the rack upstairs at work. Will post a pic and part number tomorrow

I pulled the sender and measured, the tank is approx 6" deep, I bought a 5" Wema sender and it fit fine
