    Perfect pass and idle

Hey guys just purchased a 2004 22v riders edition! Love it!! However today perfect pass went out and now the boat won't idle or start! Throttle body stays closed and if given full throttle perfect pass unwind and goes to half or less! How can I bypass perfect pass to idle and still use the boat?

PP has a number of diagnostic steps you can take to help identify the problem, check out their website. They are also very helpful on the phone as well. Just from your description it sounds like something with the servo or linkage but really hard to say until you diagnose further.

Ok I got the perfect pass working! Adjusted idle now can't get it to rev! I am on the trailer out of the water just in case I can't go into gear! Does the boat not allow it to out of water in neutral

Yes, you can rev engine in natural. Push in center of lever to release shift cable.

I found out that there is a seized up pully on the engine. Belt spins then stops and squeals! So I'm just going to assume when throttle is apply seized pully is causing it to stall out?

Ok now they say it's a GM 350 motor so does that mean I can go to autozone and get a pulley for this engine or did they change the pulley ratios?

Whats locking up, tensioner or idler pulley? Those bearings can often times be replaced. Just need to know the trade number and source it through a bearing supplier.

Although the block is a GM 5/7, the exterior components are often unique to the marinizer

Ok cool! I'm trying to figure out the best way to do this! I really don't want to disconnect the v drive nor pull the motor but there isn't really a lot of space to work in there.

image.jpg I'm assuming that's the water pump? If I had the owners Manuel I could check but if it is that's what's siezed

Thats the alternator. They are rebuildable, but id seek out someone who has experience. May be worth it to just get a new one.
