Transmission service

I will be performing a transmission service in the near future and I was wondering if everyone has switched to DEX VI? I have a 2004 22V.

Dex VI is previous year compatible and is General Motors direct replacement for Dex Atf... Would be fine to use either.

Cbath thanks for the help. I contacted my local Chevy dealer and they told me all the have is Dex VI. He told me the same thing you stated. Thanks

GM says dex vi superceides dex III, but ive heard that PCM does not feel the same way. Not sure about borg-warner. Just an FYI, NAPA usually carries dex-III.
