Sea Strainers

I was wondering how many of you guys used sea strainers. here in fl we put them on all our boats we have found this to have saved alot of grief, time and money for our customers. they have to empty them out everytime out on the lakes around here. i have had many come in without them that had tranny and oil coolers clogged with grass and such. just wondering if you guys run across this where you live.

I had one installed on mine after I overheated on a local lake that has lots of weeds. The weeds had blocked the intake. The sea strainer works great! Now I can see if it needs to be cleaned.
