    Learn from my mistake

Don't loosen the bolts under the window. They are holding the window down, and they don't have a way to tighten them back up. I have a system created though to put them back up tomorrow.

What do you mean by "and they don't have a way to tighten them back up"? I took my port side windsheild completely of my 2001 Tige' 2300. It went back on without any trouble.

Let us know, we can help

Under the port side(passenger right?) I was using the lock nuts to hole my wires up, so I loosened them, and they didn't go back on because the bolt was always turning. I got them to work though, used another method.

I thought it might be something like that. I don't know which model you have, but on my 23V the is a rubber strip along the bottom of the windshield. You pull that strip back and you'll see the other end of the bolt. In my case it's a phillips head. When your done you just push the strip back in.

i figured that was it, but I didn't want to pull anything else out. I got them to work, but will use that for next time. Thanks for the 411
