Anyone run the water line to a cool-water source? Mine is currently coming from a hot-water source which OJ says is a no-no as it will expand/deform the seal housing....

I'm on my phone so sorry for the brief reply, but yes... I ran mine to a cold water hose on the exhaust system per PCM instructions. I posted a thread with photos, do a search. -

I need to check mine out but it was installed by a professional so I am assuming they did it to specs... Good info... didn't think about the water being hot/cold fed as it seems commonsense would dictate you use the cold water source as you are trying to "cool" the shaft...

Technically, the purpose is for lubrication.
