On Oreilly site its P/N DF005W just a simple 12 volt relay.

You should have enough weight just geting it placed correctly is key. I've made a little NSS wake plate that helps mine out some. But currently runnign 300# in locker on surf side, #350 on the floor next to motor, 200# under rear seat. Then typiclly 2 adults (200 each) on rear seat then 1 on observer seat. I typically run tap set on wakeboard so all the way up and have driver give the boat a slight left turn. It does like to cavitate some but not too bad. Id like to swap to a little lower pitch prop to help it out a little more.

A little off topic, but since I switched to the ACME 911 prop I have had no cavitation.

TA its next on my list of upgrades to do, course building a new house right now so the boat upgrade list has been pushed aside for a while. But I will make a note of that prop and have Mike order me one once I get back to my upgrade list,h opefully next year. Also want to do a little auto ballast vs manual pump. Filling bags up right now when its this hot is a killer.

TA I would love to see how a new prop would work for me. I'm running a stock stainless right now.
I have a barefoot boom and like to barefoot when I'm at the river but I need more speed..... Next year maybe... Aren't those props $500 bucks or more. Crazy.
I know that the technology has to be better now than in 98.

I switched to the 911 prop for eliminating cavitation while surfing. You will lose top end with the 911, not sure if it's too much loss for footing? I ski with it at 32mph without problem. Before the 911 I was using a 653. That was a great all around prop, except for surfing.

Mine are up under the dash up where the holes are where the wires go to the gauges. Should be 2 of them.

I found them and they are tiny. I'm so glad you made that diagram showing 2. Luckily all it was was the wire. It got unplugged from the relay. All that bs for a wire. Oh well. I'm good to go at least.

Well good news and bad news the good news is I have the pump and tubing in and hooked up and the pump works the bad news is the plate doesn't move evenly and it'll only go about half way down I'm hoping it gets better over time and hoping part of it is the motor not running when I was trying to move it the motor would just stop at a certain point like it ran out of juice so I'm not sure what was going on there

wonder if it has a lot of air in the lines? May have to crack the fittings a bit at the ram to get the air out of the lines

Yea that was my thought too because it started moving as soon as I hit the button didn't seam like it had time to get air out I'm hoping over time it gets better but I finished it around 10 so didn't feel like messing with it anymore and had to put it up!
