Starboard rear sack not filling up?!?

Any tips on self diagnosing a problem with my ballast pump?

2014 Z3 with just 8 hours on the thing. We took it out this weekend and the drivers side bag would not fill up.

I pulled up the access hatch, and it sure seemed like the pump was running. But clearly there was no water going through the line.

The red valve was in the same position as all of the working pumps, so that didn't seem like the issue.

Maybe a clog from underneath the boat? I can't stand the thought of having to take it back to the dealership right now when it's probably slammed with people getting their summerization done.

Also, I guess I'll tack this on this thread... My taps doesn't go down to one. It stops at 2.

On the pump for the rear bag. Disconnect the hose and turn on the pump while you're in the water. If it pumps water into the bilge you're okay at the pump. Then reconnect the hose and try again. Sometimes there is a air lock in the hose. Your taps may need to be recalibrated. You can access that from your Tige touch screen.
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.

for the pump, check a couple of things:
      1. Lift the floor and check that the pump turns on when you hit the TT screen. Sounds like you already did this.
      2. If it does then check for clogs, but first shut off the valve at the pump (if you are in the water).
      3. Then take out the pump motor by turning the motor counterclockwise. Depending on the pump (I think you have the Tsunami 1200?) there is a tab on the side of the pump that you have to push in while turning.
      4. If there's nothing clogging the pump, then I would slowly open the valve to verify that water comes into the pump. If it does, then button everything back up, and try it again.
      5. If still nothing, then trace all of your hoses to the bag (some will divert off and go to the hard tanks). Take the hose off the bag and try the pump again. Usually this exercise will clear any obstructions and air-locks, assuming your pump turns on.
      6. I should have asked this first, but did this pump work fine for the first 8 hours?

        Good tips! Thanks!

And yea, everything worked great last year. The boat was winterized by Eagle Marine, and this is the first time firing it up this year. I wasn't sure if maybe they do something during the winterization and missed a step that left the pump in a bum state....

I had never heard of 'air locking' before. A couple of quick searches I think has me pointed in the right direction.
