I have a 2005 24V in which the set screw holding the throttle stripped out leaving the throttle to spin freely. I took it to the service center who is saying that the entire control box needs to be replaced and that the only control box which is available is the Teleflex CH2200P which does not have the TAPS toggle switch built in to the knob. My thought was that the set screw could be retapped and off and running, but this has turned into a 3 week ordeal to locate the right part. Does anyone know if the control box is available with the TAPS control in the handle? Or if there is a way to put humpty dumpty back together again and get my boat back? Any advice would be appreciated. Some photos attached.
