Perfectpass does not work

I have a new 24V and the perfectpass stopped working. It will turn on and show the speed on the left, but it does not show speed> any suggestions. thanks Mike

Check the sensor under the boat. There is probably debris in the paddle wheel that is stopping the wheel from turning.

Most of the time, they are on the starboard side, just to the right of the last tracking fin.

Paddle wheel

Just replaced my paddle wheel, its located opposite the raw water intake side, I access it from under the rear seat of my 21v riders ed.
If you have to replace the paddlewheel, order it direct from PP. It's less than $17 and they ship it right out.

Perfect Pass Reset

I had a similar problem (set speed shows on left, but actual speed reads zero (or very small, inaccurate, number). After changing the paddle wheel, the problem persisted. I finally reset the PerfectPass (version 6.0 - 2000 model) by pressing/holding the "Menu" and "down" buttons while turning the ignition on. From there, the reset process was intuitive and PerfectPass worked great.

As an aside, I accidentally chose "Digital Pro" instead of "Wakeboard Pro" and that WASN'T intuitive. I'm glad we don't have any skiers that require the options for "Digital Pro"!
