2003 Tige 22V Trans oil light?

Hi..I'm a newbie to Tige owners, we justed purchase a used 2003 Tige 22V when I test drove it and dealer rep told me that the "Trans oil light" should be on at idle and will go out when you give it throttle? I looked in the owners manual and couldn't find anything about this, if anyone out there knows about this please comment. Thanks

I have a 2003 22V and it does the same thing. I talked with a Tige dealer at a boat show about this and he said it is normal. If should go away when the boat hits 1000rpm.

Told the same here. Will go off when the v drive kicks in at about 1000-1100 rpm-we have an 06 20V

Ok, the Trans oil light does go away when Rpm's are above a 1000Rpm's + like when I idle down to pick up rider.

Thats normal. Search on fhis site and also download the walter v drive manual. It will tell you its normal.
