Hey everyone,
Just wanted to see if someone can steer me in the right direction with a small issue that my boat is having.
It's a 2009 RZ4 with the PCM EX343.
Boat starts fine, accelerates fine, tows fine etc. But I can hear what sounds like missing. It's not so noticeable while operating the boat. But if I'm standing on shore and someone else is operating the boat I can hear the sound more clearly out of the exhaust. (best described as a sputtering/missing noise)
Also when underway, the boat seems to change speed on its own. (in small increments) But just enough to alter the wake when surfing or boarding. It's rather annoying. Could this be caused by the speedo not working and the boat not knowing how fast it's going? I wouldn't think this is the case, but I'm not quite knowledgeable on the electronics on the boat. The speedo doesn't work when operating the boat, but when I went to the gauge diagnostics option on the menu the gauge needle will sweep back and forth as it's supposed to. Any ideas?!
Thanks in advance,
Daniel
