Blower replacement... 2001 21V?

Does anybody have any words of advice or recommendations for replacing the blower for the engine compartment? Mine suddenly became much louder this weekend. It is still blowing air, but I figure it is time to replace it.

Do I need a 3 inch or a 4 inch blower? The boat is two hours away, I was hoping to get the part this week and replace it on Friday.

Looks like Rule, Shurflo, Detmar make replacement blowers. Does anyone have experience (good or bad) with any of them?

most likely a 3 inch. I put a rule in my 20v this last winter... well what was my 20v... worked just great.

Mine is a 3" and I replaced it with a Rule - cheap and pretty quiet.

Just be careful with the tube as it is a pain to get a new one scrunched onto the exhaust port.

Thanks for the info, I ordered a replacement today. And just in case, I ordered another tube as well!
