    Manual adjust TAPS

I have a 2008 Tige 22VE and over this season, I noticed that the TAPS begin to get slower to respond, this last weekend it quit working all together. The switch has the same tactile sensation to it. I do not here a hum or any clicking or popping sounds when I push it. I can not physically move the TAPS plate. It is stuck at level 8. I need to get it fixed, but in the meantime, is there any way to lower the TAPS manually to a better level.

I have read alot of post on TAPS, some are hydraulic, but I looked in the engine bay and did not see anything.

    Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for your time and help.
The worst day of boating is still the better than the best day of work......, unless you bend your prop.

Have you looked for your resevoir behind the rear bulkhead wall on the starboard side? That is where mine is on an 06 24v
