    SEADOO Starting problems

first off, if the mods want to delete this please do, i just just don't want to register at the seadoo web site and I thought someone may be able to send me in the right direction. I have an 98 Seadoo spx that won't start, nor beep when I connect the key, nor even turnover. I noticed about a week ago the start button was hit or miss. I would press it, nothing would happen, then press it again, and she starts right up, now nothing...is the starter bad, do they go bad, something wrong with where they key connects, perhaps it is not recognizing it? Battery is strong, I did try to jump it just to rule out the batttery. Any suggestions as to where I begin to look would be great, thank you

I have a 99 that's been sitting for few years due to a faulty Eprom. Seadoo wants $900 for the brain, but they can be had on line for under $300. I just haven't found the time to order one or work on the sled. Its usually a 50 cents diod that goes bad inside the eprom.

Starter solenoid, we've had to replace several for many customers over the years. Something like $40 part
