    TIGE Touch Blue Screen

    I have a 2011 Tige RZR (Chris Leboufs (sp) ) Old boat...

    My Tige Touch was working and I just tried to update the software.. It went white like it was loading and has been blue ever since. Ski Dock in Austin said it should only take 2 minutes to update, but it doesnt appear to be working.. After about 20 mins i called and they said we could retry it.. Killed the battery and unplugged the USB..

    My major concern is now Tige Touch wont even activate with the USB out. Its a blue screen no matter what and wont boot up. FML

    Anyone know if there is a hard reset or anything to get Tige Touch Back on Track?

    I was trying to update with the 2012 Half.mem file that Ski Dock Provided...

    What are you using to upload the file onto the flashdrive? there is a problem with using Macs to upload the file to the USB stick often there is a format issue with the flashdrive too.

      MAC was the issue!!! thanks and i let Ski Dock and the guy at TIGE know so they can be proactive here!

          Yep you bet glad you got it, it has something to do with the way the file gets downloaded and then unzipped from everything I could figure out.

            Closest Tige Dealer is 6 hours from me... i was pretty concerned cause i couldnt fill ballast without the damn Tige Touch... i can drain, but cant fill... Pretty much inoperable without software... kinda scary!~!!!

              Hi resink

              I thought I would be pro-active and get the software from Tige which I did. I did notice it was in a ZIP file. When you plug it into the boat does it in zip the file automatically?

                No. You need to unzip it and put the contents on the thumb drive.

                  Correct sorry for the late response you need to unzip the file before loading onto the flash drive.

                    I just did the exact same thing as bherrm and stuck on the blue screen and can't get out if it. I have redownloaded the .mem file with windows and reformatted with windows. So is there a way to reboot or reset the blue screen of death, so I can reinstall the update file?

                      make sure the video cable from the display to VIPER is connected. That was a mistake I made and cost me a couple days troubleshooting. Flashdrive was formatted to FAT32. Once I fixed the video cable, it worked like a charm.

                        Where can I find software updates for my 2013 Z1- the touch screen has some dead areas and I would like to explore other avenues before replacing.....expensivo!

                          I recently purchased a 201 1 Z! with only 70 hours but I am having a hard time with the touch system Does anyone have an software update? I am about 95 % sure the previuos owner has not updated.
