Hula Boat care products... fixing clear coat

Just purchase an 98 Tigé 2200v and the owner before me did not take very good card of the hull of the boat. I was looking at the Hula Boat Care products and was wondering if anybody else has tried this. The clear coat is pretty oxidized and I want to get it looking as best as I can.

    thanks,
    BK

I just finished the complete 3 step process. My red 06 22Ve had oxidized pretty badly at the rear transom. I used a DeWalt orbital for the entire process. I am completely satisfied. I will post a couple before/afters soon. I have no hesitation on recommending Hula!

could you just tell me what you used for pads, and which dewalt orbital you used? I just want to buy all the stuff and do it right, I checked out there web site and everything looked slick. Just figured I would ask the people that have done it, time to get my new (to me) boat in the water and I want to make it as nice as possible.

Just did my 85 bass boat with the 3 step process with a Porter Cable orbital. Got the pads from Auto Geek. Looks like a new boat and it was easy! Totally satisfied here. Like the way the vinyl product worked as well.

I used the DeWalt BADDWP849X 7/9" Variable Speed Polisher(the number may not come up if you Google it because it is a Snap On part number). With the Riptide Liquid Compound I used a lamb wool pad. With the Hang Ten Wax Cleaner and Big Kahuna Polymer Sealant I used a foam pad. Again, I achieved great results and I would tell anyone to try it! One more note, I did turn the polisher to 1,400 rpm max, I believe that was at the recommendation of Hula.

Hula Care is good stuff. I just finished mine only did 2 steps since it wasnt oxidized that bad. I used a wool pad with a buffer on the cleaner wax. For the sealant I just put it on by hand. Hull is silky smooth. Even hit the aluminum pop up cleats and shined them to a mirror finish. Then real quickly I hit my trailer with the wax and it shinned it up too. Pics are always hard to take unless the oxidation is really bad. But the reflections tell the story pretty good
