I believe my alternator is bad and so I took it to O'Rielly's. The machine they hook it up to test needs a part #. This is a 2007 24VE 340HP Marine Power. Is it the same as a 5.7L Vortex? It is already pulled out of boat and would like to test and rebuild if needed. Suggestions?

Get a quote for the rebuild before going forward. I had mine rebuilt a few months ago, and then found that for an extra $30 I could have gotten a new one direct from Marine Power.Comment
