    Tower Shakes

See the attached pictures. For some reason, this tower shakes really bad when we go down the lake and hit waves. It happened before we put the heavier Rev8s on the tower as well.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Unfortunately, the best answer is probably get a new tower, or even better answer, have somebody weld a cross bar in between your two tower mounts similar to what most towers have. I am sure that you have checked the tightness of all the bolts on the tower. I have two Pro 485s on my tower and it is pretty solid. However, any tower will shake when hitting big waves.

That's part of it, it's not bolted in the front, it only uses lock pinsand a few plastic washers. It's always been noisy at these attachment points but now the whole thing shakes quite a bit with the new speakers. Anyone think using bolts would really help it? When it does shake it seems like it really sways near the top, it has quite a bit a play in it at the top of the tower...

I would try bolts and see if that helps. Problem with most towers are when you add wieght the more they seem to sway and rattle. Newer towers are better but they all seem to shake when hitting waves.
