    Z3 Electrical Problems...Advice Needed

So this past weekend we put the boat in the slip on Friday evening and covered it to take it out the next day. That night we got a ton of rain and when we went out the next morning there was a huge pool of water just behind the tower where our last pole should have been. The poles are pretty cheap and it didn't hold up in the storm.

When I went to start the boat the blower did not automatically come on when they key turns. After we started the boat the radio would not come on either and we even tried to reset the head unit to get it to work. We checked the fuses and nothing had blown. We were also able to use the manual switch to run the blower when the boat was running. Everything else seemed to work fine. We didn't run any ballast, but the touchscreen still worked.

When we finally pulled the boat out on Sunday and pulled the drain plug, water gushed out of the hole for close to 10 minutes, which makes me think the bilge pump wasn't working either.

To make a long story short, basically we got a lot of water in the boat and the blower, the stereo, and the bilge pump do not seem to be working. None of the fuses are blown. Is there a breaker that might have tripped? If anyone has any advice on what the problem might be that would be great. I'm sure it's a simple fix, but I'm not very savvy on electrical systems. I can live without the stereo, but the blower and the bilge pump concern me.

I have had a few issue myself with fuses popping and such anyway here are some things that I found on my boat maybe it will help you.

Blower Stopped working--- Located a fuse in a bundle of wire under the dash... Start following a yellow wire I think. In my case I was unable to turn on the blower on manually or via touch. There is also the fuse in the Tige Touch pwr panel, which in one case also popped.

Ballast Pump--- My rear ballast pump fuse would blow and fuse the tige pwr panel on. I came accross a wire in the bilge area that had been resting on a moving part of the transmission. It had Actually eaten through the wire and was causing it to ground out. So I would totally check that one out. I also sent Tige an Email on that one. I Believe this issue was the cause of the blower fuse blowing as it has not tripped since. Highly recommend lifting up the floor and taking a peak around!

Bilge pump-- I have yet to see my bilge pump come on by itself. But there have been a few occassion when we have noticed an odd noise from transmission and inspect and notice a bunch of water. Manually turning on the pump extracts the water and noise goes away. My understanding from Tige is that there is a fuse in the battery compartment that they have had issues with tripping for the bilge pump. I have yet to check mine but it is on my todo list.

Excessive Water in Bilge-- I haven't figured this one out yet but as mentioned above sometimes we have quite a lot of water in the bilge. May be coming from shaft seal but I have yet to see it. or maybe ballast sack or pump???

    Hope that helps.

Did you make sure that the battery didnt go dead from the bilge pump running , which would effect the stereo and other accesseries.
The engine battery is seperate of the accereie batt. and would not be effected.

On our 22 ve the bilge pump sucked up all the manufacturing debris in the bilge area.It killed the battery and burned up the pump. This was after a huge storm and lots of water in the bilge.
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.
