What wire is the triducer wire, GPS install

Just ordered the NL4 SR GPS plug and play system for my paddlewheel placement. The paddlewheel quit working last year, replaced the triducer, quit working again this year, so time for an up grade.

According to the website you put one end where the paddlewheel is and the other goes to the wiring harness, question is which one.

The triducer has a black wire that has AIRMAR written on it, spent 30 min on my back under the dash and could not find it, any help with this is greatly appreciated

Used to have a 2008 Z1 that had speedo failures regularly. If your boat is set up the same, the AIRMAR wire ties into the wiring harness near the front of the engine. Good luck!

I don't spot it, the one I did was back at the triducer; best I can remember it was black and oval shaped. Your new GPS unit should have the very same connector, so hopefully you'll easily recognize it.

You may need to trace the wire from the transom to the helm. I just replaced the transducer, it is a pretty generic wire but airmar does tag the end under the helm with model info if that helps?
