Yes it's pretty straight forward as long as they sent the mounting collar. When I ordered mine, it came in with the wheel only. Anyways, you remove the allen screws in the existing wheel and remove it. You will then need a steering wheel puller or a harmonic balancer puller will also work to remover the collar from the mounting shaft.http://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pub...GAw84UD75PhKS4 Only thing is you will need bolts that have the same thread size as the allen's you remove, but they have to be longer. A trip to Lowes solved that. Once the original mounting collar is removed from the tapered steering shaft, you then put the new collar on and make sure the rudder is straight so you can center the wheel. Bolt everything back up and your good to go. Once I had the tools together and picked up the right length bolts, it took about 15 min. -
So they send it with no collar and without the longer screws? Doesn't sound so straight forward. Thanks for the response jrj. I'll call the dealer to make sure the collar is there and ask if there are screws.Comment
