I have a 2008 tige 22ve marine power 5.7vortec mpi. I cannot find anyone that has this type of engine starter top mounted standard rotation. Marine power p/n is wrong and west marine gm starter is to big in diameter. thanks for any help.

Other choice is to find a local auto-electrical shop that rebuilds starters. They will probably do it for close to $100 and it will be better than the stock starter. The starters dont really wear out, just some of the contacting parts inside. Brushes, bushings, and solonoids are really the only parts that fail. most people just buy a new starter when the old one is fine when rebuilt. My rebuilt has lasted twice the hours it did as new.So this monkey walks into a bar...
