As far as computor readings, if the fuel pumps are low on preassure, the fuel trim will keep adjusting to correct for lean condition , but wouldnt necessarly set any codes.

I just finished checking the fuel pressure from the fuel rail ( first time I have done this but it seemed pretty obvious how to do it) . With the guage attached to the value I was getting 60 psi from the moment the boat cranked, actually as soon as I turned the key. I ran the boat and the pressure stayed constant throughout at a solid 60 psi. No variation up or down to speak of.

I haven't looked at the FCC for a place to measure the pressure but I will do that. Although, I believe the low pressure pump is working since I could see it pulling fuel when I had the see through prefilter connected.

Anybody think I should check the plugs?? It seems to early for plugs but could they have fouled from bad gas or something?

    Thanks again!!

As far as the inline fuel filter , never run a see through filter either plastic or glass , to unsafe in a boat, also the inline filter isnt hi preassure its on the suction side, but it is hi volume.

You can have hi preassure at the rail but that wont tell you if the low preassure pump is keeping the cell full under load!

I will see if I can check that. BTW already removed the plastic inline filter and replaced with a high pressure canister type recommended by the dealer.

          Thanks

Well i think the problem is finally resolved. I never did figure a way take a pressure reading on the low pressure pump but I did disconnect the power to the high pressure pump and verified that the priming process was filling the FCC. After that I pulled all the plugs on one side of the boat and they were all fine. Pulled the plugs on the other side and the first was fine but the next three were wet oily and nasty. Replaced all four on that side and bang everything was rolling. In the end I think I needed the filters changed and the plugs just finished off the problem.

            Thanks for all the help.

If you look up a couple posts (#20), he changed the spark plugs.
