Does anyone have a original tilt helm that came in these boats? I still have the part the cable runs through and then my brother gave me a helm he had looked like the original but liked 3/16 to mate to the plate. Just don’t want to spend a whole bunch of money or time redoing the helm.

So the tab on the rotary portion doesnt reach in to the port of the tilt helm?
I think yours was this style. 1995 would have been built in California and not at the Texas factory so i'm unsure of which setup yours had.

I took it for a spin today. If you let go of the wheel it takes off to the right. Is that normal? All I replaced was the cable the old one must have rusted up. This is my helm. The bottom piece broke it had the spring for the tilt and I may have it upside down but the position worked better. I guess I should just upgrade the helm.

You have it mounted upside down. The adjustment lever points down.

Got a little more done now that the panel arrived.

Panel looks great! Where did you get it? I made a drawing for the old digital switches to go to mechanical. Maybe I could send it to them to use and as customers need them I can forward them to them.
