Tige Touch

Hi Everyone,

I have been looking at multiple boats which have the Tige Touch. I was just wondering if anyone has ever had any problems with it, or have had to replace it? and what is so special about it?

Our Tige Touch had one issue where the screen went blue. I called Tige and they overnighted me a flash drive with directions on how to fix the problem. Just plugged it in and it fixed whatever was wrong with it and haven't had any more problems.
I like our Tige Touch, but this is our first inboard so I have nothing to compare to except my cousin's X-star which is a little older and just has switches. He likes ours so that's nice coming from a MC guy!

We had one slight hick up on my 11' and all that was required was a software update super easy to use. All my other ones have been great love it although I do at times like the old switches on the dash personally but the Touch is a great way to get everything into one place and easy to use.

Not sure if it's online but you can get it from the factory they can email it to you download it to a USB drive and then upload it in the port under the helm.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 10 22VE with the Tige touch. I'm so used to guages and switches, it does make me a little nervous. Anyone have issues with the touch on the 2010 models? Also, I live in Phoenix, so the impact of the heat on the screen worries me a bit. Any other thoughts are appreciated.

Negatory had a 10' with it no problems super great system i'd update it to the new software but otherwise I wouldn't worry about it

This will be my 3rd season and have not had any problems. I spend 10 days a summer at Lake Mohave every year, again no issues.
