    Help Alarm sounding

Have 2005 24v with 340 marine power, new boat for use as of late last year season. Had boat winterized at end of season. Got boat out today put new batteries in turned battery switch to on and alarm is sounding under dash. Live in the ozarks and it's 80 and can't go to lake, so sad. Any suggestion?

Did you start the engine or just turn the key to on? Its normal for the alarm so sound with engine off and key on.

Hello, first I would like to say thank you for all your comments on other threads they have really helped me! And Im going to contact you in a few weeks regarding a ballast set up. No key in the ignition. Turn battery switch to on and alarm will start. The engin will tune over, but I did not want to start it.

Found problem, looks like when I took out or put in battery a wire broke. So when I turn the battery switch to on the alarm sounded.
