2003 22V Overheating Issues

I've had a recurring issue with boat overheating and the amps dropping. I've replaced the water pump and the batteries within the last two weeks and this hasn't corrected the issue. We will run the boat for awhile and all of a sudden the overheating buzzer will go off and we will drop amps. I had it into the shop and they replaced the water pump and it didn't fix it. Any ideas?

May not actually be overheating but rather have an electrical problem. Start by verifying temp and proceed from there.
