We stayed out a little too long yesterday and didn't beat the storm back to the dock. Got caught in some really rough water and took a beating for a while. The only casuality I seem to have is one of the windshield support rods pulled out from the ball that secures the post to the dash area. My foldout windshield panel seems to have gotten pushed partway past the stops on the frames and caused this support post to separate. I now can't get it to go back together as it was. This will allow the windshield to be pulled away from the boat right there at the joint where the foldout windshield would latch to the stationary part of the windshield. You can't push the windshield down and break it but someone holding on to the windshield and frame for support could pull out on the windshield and perhaps break the glass and I bet that curved glass isn't cheap. Apparently the support rod is crimped around the end of the plastic ball joint and I can't get it to go back together again. Any ideas or help here? I hope I described the support rod enough so you know what I'm talking about.
