I have been having trouble with the speed reading on my 07 24ve. It seems to be reading about half of what it should, or at least extremely low. The paddle wheel is intact and spins freely. Please help.

I believe so. We were having to set the cruise control at around 13mph to achieve our normal wake thats usually at around 21mph. Even when just cruising down the lake, we never got the normal gage to read over 20. I had my local dealer look at the boat a few weeks ago but the only way they could test the paddle wheel was with an air hose. So they were unable to see the problem we are having. Do you think the problem is in a paddle? If its not where else could it be?Comment

If you know someone with the same setup nearby, you can swap relatively easily (long danged cable) and test the paddle sensor that way. Only other way is to guess thats the problem and order the part.So this monkey walks into a bar...Comment
