    Natural start switch

I just got back from a nice week at the lake and we had a small issue a few times.
The problem was that boat would not start in neutral unless I moved the throttle back and forth. (This only happened a couple of times) so I figured would ask if anybody has adjusted there start switch before I start taking everything apart.
Is the adjustment located on the transmission or the throttle?
    I have a 2004 SwitchV with a Marin Power 5.7.
The transmission is the same color as the engine and I have the blue v-drive. (Sorry I can give you more detail, but I am not home)
    Thanks for any information

Sounds like the neutral safty switch on the trans, which will be near the shift lever and has 2 wires on it that are normally yellow with a red stripe.

I found the problem with my boat no starting all the time.
It was a relay. On my engine, I have three relays. Two are nice watertight relays and one is a standard sp st relay. This relay is the starter relay on my boat. It is powered by the push button on my dash and closes the circuit that goes through the neutral safety switch.
