    Hour Metre Problem

Hi, i have '2005' 20V and I'm having problems with my hour metre on the dash, it seems to reset all the time and I'm not sure how many hours are on my boat, is there any way of fixing this problem and finding out how many hours my boat has. Thanks

Yes, the main engine ecu stores the hours and can be check by anyone who has a diagnostic tool with the software needed for your engine. Sounds like your gauge is toast, I have seen this happen before. Rain damaged the gauge and it would reset the hours every 15 to 25 hours logged.
A new gauge can be left attached to a battery source for how ever many hours are actually on the engine and then installed. Or some people just document that the gauge was replaced at xxx hours and just deal with it.

That should have come with a Faria gauge and came with a lifetime warranty, you normally can contact Faria and for a service charge they will redo the gauge.
I had my 2004 tach redone 2 years ago and im getting ready to send in my volt meter.

Let me know how the volt gauge repair goes, my 2003 faria volt gauge is broken as well. I am torn though after talking faria, a new one is around $40 and I think repair is $23 plus the cost of shipping it in.
