    06' 24 ve 6.0 L 380hp- Where's the fuel filter

We just bought our 06 24ve, took it to the tige dealer had it de-winterized and basic service performed. The first 3 time we took it out it ran great, out of the hole quick and planed well with a top speed of 47-49 mph. Each time we went out those first three trips we filled up the boat at the gas station and the tank only took 16-20 gallons, but when we got on the water the fuel gauge would say just over half full. My first thoughts were that the gauge was stuck, 4th time out, the tank took about 35 gallons, which really surprised me because we only ran it about 2 hours last time out. This time when we got on the water the fuel gauge said full. The boat ran very poorly though, it started fine, idle seemed a bit rough and had nothing out of the hole and top speed of 38-39 mph. So I'm wondering what is going on, I'm thinking fuel filter, bad gas, and searching here I'm wondering about water in the tank. Also, what about some kind vapor lock or fuel starvation issue, seems like the fuel tank may not be venting, would maybe explain my previous weird fill up situations. I'm not a mechanic, so I'm looking for some help. Where is the fuel filter, or this water separator, what about a fuel line vent? Is this the vent I see located just below the fuel fill cap?
    thanks!
I added some pictures, with an additional Q?
Last Q, blower doesn't seem to work, is there a fuse box somewhere?

I believe that yours is similar to mine, I have a circuit breaker box under the helm. There are push buttons that can be checked to see if you can push them to reset it.

Yes that is the fuel filter. There is a bolt on the bottom that has to be removed then you twist the bottom section of the canister off. From what has been reported it is tight.

            Hey a fellow Utahn

For filling up sounds like a tank venting issue, does yours have dual gas caps or single?

Also maybe add some Marine Stabil to the next gas even wally world sells it in the auto section.

                "lohe"
single fill gas cap, is the vent just below the fill? Any ideas on how to make sure it's patent
                "skippabcool"
so the fuel filter is the grey canister below the two fuel filters, "wickedcummins" is leading me to believe it's the smaller silver canister on top of the motor laying horizontal. Want to make sure I pull apart the right stuff

I have the 340 but my fuel filter is the one that you have labeled "Is this the fuel filter". You undo the piece below your red arrow. I do not recall seeing a piece like you have labeled "what is this". Someone with the 6.0 380 will have to chime in.

                  Look at this thread

                      They are both filters.

The large gray unit is the water separator and the smaller silver cylinder is just a typical filter element.

so do I change both? If indeed I filled up with some bad fuel I'd assume I need to change both.
How does the smaller filter on top of the motor come off, the lines look line some kind of press in fitting. Is that how it works?
